Have you ever heard of Conservation Detection Dogs (CDD)? Whether CDD is something you’ve been interested in or it’s totally new to you, this is a great time to learn about this increasingly important line of work. Seasoned handler Blair Pfeifer will be giving a crash course on all things relating to CDDs. Learn about the canines using their noses to help biologists answer questions. After answering “what is a CDD”, we’ll dive into when, how, and why they’re used, what it’s like working in the field, and how you can get involved. Come learn about all the awesome abilities of these working canines who are Sniffing for Science!
